Melabelle A/W 12 Collection - Pop Up Shop

*Note: Picture heavy post*

Hi Belles

So sorry for the lack of posting, but the LPC course is kicking my ass at the moment *intense is not even the word for the workload*. Plus my accommodation is still being built; but I'm not complaining because this temporary, swanky apartment is just what I need after a stressful day; but enough about uni stress.

A few weeks ago my sister and I were invited to Melabelle's pop up shop in London. Travelling all the way from Sheffield on extremely packed trains *due to all the flooding and rail closures*. It was a mission to say the least, but when we finally got there we instantly fell in love with Melabelle's new A/W 12' collection.

We were greeted by Katie with bubbly and snacks in a very intimate gathering. As you walked into the pop-up shop, there were clothing rails beautifully dressed on either side, with the fashionable talent of Bella the creator of Melabelle.

Let's start by giving a little bit of background into the Melabelle brand. Melabelle's A/W 12 inspiration comes from her grandmother, Thora.

Melabelle's ethos is to "to create a versatile wardrobe of flattering clothes for women with busy lifestyles" using vintage inspired styles, that celebrate the feminine silhouette.

The range of prints and fabrics are just what you need in these coming A/W days.

"The ‘Dalton’ dancer print was inspired by a mysterious envelope dated 1955, packed full of charming silhouettes that had been sent to my grandmother by her sister"

Check out some of my favourite pieces from the lookbook below

For me the  piece de resistance had to be the pea coat wool jacket in camel *also available in black*; which is flattering to any figure.

If a few of the items on the lookbook are anything to go by, then I would definitely recommend that you invest in Melabelle's pieces. They are perfect for "Day & Night", back to college/university, or just any casual trip around town.

Not only did she showcase her wonderful A/W12 fashions, but there were accessories to match. Who can say no to accessories to help give your outfit that edge.
These included scarves, handbags and jewellery.

It was such a shame that we were unable to stay for the whole event but we luckily got a chance to meet Bella ' the designer' , who was kind enough to share her inspiration for this current seasons collection and was extremely appreciative of us coming down for the short amount of time we attended.

She even allowed us to take a quick picture with her before we rushed out.

You can see more of these cute, sophisticated and versatile styles on Melabelle.com

Hugs and Kisses
